Joan Liu

    Joan is bilingual in English and Mandarin (Traditional Chinese). Her door to translation opened when she landed her first paid case in 2004 and has been typing away ever since. Her scope in translation/editing has included biology, music, environmental science, public health, alternative medicine, movies, religion studies...etc. She specializes in helping authors with university application, journal articles, theses, dissertations, posters, and conference briefings. On top of working through her agency and private clients, Joan is a Google translate contributor and TED.com translator.
